Babcock Home Inspections has a passion for construction and home inspections.

Our goal for inspections is to "take your time" and do an outstanding job for his clients.
Our objective is to teach seasoned as well as first time home buyers the basics of home maintanance and safety issues of the home as well as the general condition of the home.
It is important that you feel comfortable with the entire home buying experience.

This company was founded on the principles of hard work, education and good customer relations.
The idea that "knowledge is power" is passed on to the home buyers.  The more that a buyer knows about their house, the better they can make wise decisions about the "biggest purchase of their life".

Ask all the questions you want.  There is no such thing as a stupid question.
Every home is unique and every buyer is special and deserves the upmost professional attention.

Our inspection experience has covered homes from new to 120 years old, huge houses, small houses, condos, farm houses and small commercial businesses.

New Construction inspections include foundation, framing and final inspections.  Problems are always found in new homes so it is good to catch them before you move in.

Rural properties are very common in our area.  Many of these homes have on site sewage treament systems and on site wells.  These are also inspected.  Water samples are generally taken from the well and lab analysis taken for bacteria.
A professional report is given to the clients and their realtor generally on the same business day.
These reports are not written in "Inspector Speak" (similar to the way your doctor talks to you) but in regular English.  Any word or term that is not familiar to the client can be translated at any time by just giving us a phone call.
The phone is answered at all times, including the weekends.

We also do Termite Inspections and the reports are done at the same time.

We understand that the realtor and buyer is usually under a time limitation (Option Period) and getting the reports done quickly and accurately is very important.
Reports are generally sent by email because the quality of the reproduction is far superior to FAX.  They are sent in the PDF or Adobe Acrobat format.  This type of file is acceptible everywhere in the world.

I am a member of TAREI  (Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors) and a member of the Better Business Bureau.
I attend at least 16 hours of continuing education courses for real estate inspection and 4 hours of classes for the Structural Pest Control Board for Termite and Pest inspection and treatment.
What I don't learn from yearly courses I learn from hours on the internet and websites and networking with other inspectors that have information on the latest construction materials and building practices.
