Having the buyer at the inspection is a good way for them to get to know the house better. Since I like to teach, I can teach them about home maintenance issues such a caulking around the windows, proper drainage around the house to help prevent foundation damage and air conditioning and changing return air filters. Doing a full report with pictures and comments and recommendations is an important part of the inspection, but showing the buyer in person is like the icing on the cake.
I have been doing home inspections since the year 2000 with years of building and remodeling experience. Good communication skills are always important when dealing with everyone involved in the home buying process.
