Kitchen Oven/Range
Ovens are tested for function, oven temperature and an "Anti-Tip Device". The anti-tip device is a piece of metal mounted on the floor or the wall to keep the oven from tipping over when the door is open and someone "like a kid" gets on the door. This is considered a safety device and is required on all new construction.
Ovens are also tested for temperature. If the temperature is more than 25 degrees off from the setting of 350 degrees, the oven should be adjusted.
