Windows come in several types. Vinyl, metal, single pane and double pane are the most common. Double pane glass is 2 pieces of glass put together with a air gap between. This helps improve the thermal efficiency of the glass. "Fogged Glass" is a condition where the seal between the glass fails and condensation forms between the glass. The only cure for this condition is replace the glass. Just replace the glass only and not the entire window frame.
