If left unchecked, a termite colony will cause serious damage to a home as they eat away at wood and other building materials. Our termite inspections ensure that you will not be caught off guard by pest problems when purchasing a new home. We have been helping clients in the south-central Texas area since 2001, including customers in San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels and many other towns such as Lytle, Pleasanton and La Vernia. We are licensed by the Texas Structural Pest Control Service under the Texas Department of Agriculture.
We thoroughly check the home for insects that can cause structural damage and provide you with a full report via email with a PDF file attachment generally within 12 to 18 hours. If there is a termite infestation within the home, you will be able to inform the real estate agent and generally ask the sellers for termite extermination prior to purchasing.
Part of the Termite inspection relates to conducive conditions, which means older homes with foundation cracks, wall cracks, wall paper that cover the interior walls or soil conditions that allow water to pond around the house. Water ponding is more conducive for termite colonies to survive. Foundation cracks allow termites to get into the house from the soil from where several species thrive.
Many of the Termite inspections are performed for VA home refinancing. Generally the seller pays for the cost of this service, saving the buyer some money.
When ordering a Termite inspection, please let us know if it is a VA loan. Most of the inspections that are ordered include a Home Inspection as well as a Termite inspection. The price of the Termite inspection can be split up on the invoice so it makes it easy for the Title company to take care of the paperwork and refund the money to the buyer.
Please contact us to have a termite inspector visit the house.
